About Us

Established in 1937 as “a force for constructive communal consciousness,” the Ottawa Jewish Bulletin communicates the messages of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa and its agencies, and, as the city’s only Jewish newspaper, aims to inform, inspire and enrich the lives of all members of this diverse community.

The Bulletin is subscriber-based and publishes 19 times a year.

The Bulletin welcomes a diversity of opinion; the viewpoints expressed, however, do not necessarily represent the policies and values of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa. 

Please also note that the Bulletin cannot vouch for the kashrut of advertised products or establishments unless they are certified by Ottawa Vaad HaKashrut or a rabbinic authority recognized by OVH.
